Lucy Jorgensen (B Ed, LLB)
Director

Lucy embarked on her journey with Bakers Jorgensen Lawyers (formerly Bakers Lawyers) in mid-2016. She was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in February 2017 and is equipped with a multifaceted academic background, holding a Bachelor of Education, a Bachelor of Laws, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice, all earned from Queensland University of Technology.

In recognition of her exceptional skills and contributions, Lucy was appointed as co-director of the firm in February 2024, sharing the directorial responsibilities with founder Chris Baker. Lucy currently spearheads the firm’s property and development team, showcasing her prowess in navigating the complexities of property and commercial law.

Her extensive experience spans the acquisition and sale of diverse properties, including commercial, industrial, retail, and residential. In the commercial space, Lucy excels in advising on business and company acquisitions and sales, bringing a wealth of knowledge and strategic insight to these intricate transactions.

Lucy is a seasoned professional in commercial and retail leasing, leveraging her expertise to guide clients through the nuances of these complex agreements. Her proficiency extends to developments, strata titling, and flat land subdivisions, where Lucy’s attention to detail and strategic approach shine though.

In essence, Lucy’s passion for her work, coupled with her comprehensive knowledge and strategic approach, makes her an invaluable asset to Baker Jorgensen Lawyers and a trusted partner for clients seeking exceptional legal counsel.

Chris Baker (BCOM, LLB)
Consultant

After completing a double degree at the University of Queensland in 1988, Chris settled on the Sunshine Coast and went on to establish Bakers Lawyers in 2001. Over the years, he grew the practice with a focus on Property and Commercial matters, as well as Wills and Estates, expanding the client base through the acquisition of Buderim Law in 2007 and, more recently, Andrew Fogg Lawyers.

Although Chris has recently retired from full-time practice, he continues to contribute his expertise as a consultant. He also serves as an honorary lawyer for several local charities and remains actively involved in the community, including his current roles as President of the Sunshine Coast Cricket Association and Bli Bli Community Association.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time outdoors with family and friends.

Chloe Robinson – Practice Manager

Chloe, an accomplished legal professional, embarked on her career journey as a legal secretary before honing her skills through roles as a paralegal and Business Development Manager. With a robust focus on staff management, business operations oversight, and prioritising client needs, Chloe’s expertise shines. Notably, she enriched her experience by working in London for five years, further enhancing her global perspective on legal practices.

Now assuming the pivotal role of Practice Manager, Chloe’s adaptability and comprehensive understanding of the legal landscape are evident. Outside of her professional commitments, you will find Chloe at the beach with her young family enjoying the coastal beauty.

Nicole Henry – Conveyancer

Nicole became a valued member of our practice in 2021, bringing with her extensive experience garnered from legal practices in both New South Wales and Queensland, with a predominant focus on conveyancing throughout her career. Her proficiency is evident in her professional and courteous approach to all facets of residential sales and purchases.

Beyond her professional commitments, Nicole finds relaxation in camping adventures and cherishes quality time with her family. Clients engaging with Nicole can expect a seamless and stress-free experience, whether selling or purchasing property, owing to her adeptness and dedication to facilitating smooth transactions.

Brielle Housley – Legal Assistant

Brielle has over eight years’ experience working in various areas of law, predominantly family law, where she developed strong client care skills and a keen attention to detail. She is now supporting our property team, where she applies her broad legal knowledge and organised approach.

Known for her calm and professional manner, Brielle is dedicated to providing clients with clear communication and reliable support throughout every stage of the legal process. Her commitment to thoroughness and efficiency ensures that transactions proceed smoothly and that clients feel well-informed and confident.

Brielle’s diverse legal background and client-focused mindset make her a valued member of the team, consistently delivering high standards of service and support.

Athalia Kane – Legal Assistant

Athalia, a graduate of the class of 2022, brings a diverse range of experiences to her role as a Legal Assistant at Baker Jorgensen Lawyers. Throughout her high school journey, she excelled as a member of the Futsal Academy and showcased her passion for dance by earning a spot on a tap-dancing team at a Sunshine Coast dance school, where she actively participated in competitive performances for three years.

Motivated by her interest in the legal system, Athalia has joined the Baker Jorgensen Lawyers team to acquire valuable knowledge and experience in the legal field. This position acts as a stepping stone towards her long-term goal of joining the police force. Athalia is fully engaged in learning various aspects of law, providing essential support to the legal team, and warmly welcoming our clients.

Outside of her professional commitments, Athalia finds joy in playing her guitar and embracing the coastal lifestyle with beach outings.

Lillian Pattinson – Paralegal

Lilly is a highly skilled Paralegal with extensive experience in estate administration and office support. She plays a key role in managing wills, estates, and property matters, overseeing day-to-day file administration and coordinating processes efficiently. Her professional, detail-oriented, and composed approach ensures clients receive clear guidance and support throughout often complex and emotional matters. Lilly’s dedication not only helps clients navigate these processes with confidence but also enables colleagues to work efficiently, ensuring each matter progresses smoothly from start to finish.

Jharnah Warne – Legal Assistant

Jharnah is a dedicated Law student at Sunshine Coast University with a keen interest in property law, wills, and estates. Currently working as a Legal Assistant, she gains hands-on experience in conveyancing and estate matters, honing her skills in legal processes and client relations.

Beyond her legal pursuits, Jharnah has a passion for horses and enjoys spending her free time riding and caring for them. With a strong work ethic and a drive for continuous learning, she is committed to building a successful career in the legal field.

Andrew Fogg – Consultant

Andrew Fogg is a consultant with Baker Jorgensen Lawyers, bringing over twenty-nine years of legal expertise to the team. Andrew established his own successful practice, Andrew Fogg Lawyer, on the Sunshine Coast in 2002, after gaining significant experience in private practice in the United Kingdom.

In his consultancy role, Andrew focuses on crafting customised solutions for clients across various legal areas, including Property, Commercial, and Business Law, Wills, Powers of Attorney, Estate Administration, Succession Planning, Planning, and Environmental Law. He emphasises efficiency and cost-effectiveness, ensuring clients receive exceptional service and optimal results.
